Medical community app that lets surgeons from around the world to communicate and share knowledge.

Our primary objective is to revitalize this exclusive community for surgeons by transforming it into a premier hub for knowledge exchange, driven by a strategic sense of professional exclusivity (FOMO) and a streamlined registration process. To achieve this, we will dive deep into user personas—analyzing the tech-savviness and daily workflows of our target demographic—while leveraging analytics to bridge the gap between user needs and platform functionality. Most urgently, we must overhaul the outdated design and address critical pain points, specifically by fixing the disconnected home stream, restoring eroded security trust, and simplifying the currently cumbersome onboarding experience.

Scaled product user base by 200% over two years while maintaining a high 77% activation rate. Redesigned key user flows to foster community interaction, resulting in a 400% surge in group sharing metrics and improved long-term user retention.

Following our recent discovery sessions with practicing surgeons, we have gained critical insights that will shape the app’s value proposition and functional requirements. A primary takeaway is the severe time constraint these professionals face; users typically have no more than 20 minutes of daily bandwidth for digital engagement.

Launched an integrated events feature connecting 90k+ users to global medical programming, facilitating real-time networking and collaborative discussion through dynamic, event-linked social groups.

Interest-specific stream

To satisfy the user’s needs and have very targeted information on the home stream, we included a swipe (tinder) feature in the onboarding process.

In the final phase of this UX transformation, we successfully overhauled the platform to align with the high-stakes, time-sensitive environment of professional surgery. By replacing the fragmented home stream with an AI-driven, interest-based content engine, we ensured that surgeons can access critical clinical insights and peer-validated video content within their strict 20-minute daily window. We further bridged the trust gap by implementing secure, private “Consult Groups” for sensitive case sharing, all while streamlining the registration process to eliminate friction.
