Bridging Heritage and Street Culture through Identity Design.
For Taste of Skopje (Вкусот на Скопје), the challenge was to design a visual identity that felt instantly local, highly appetizing, and modern. Hosted at “Shkolka” in Skopje’s City Park, the festival needed a brand system that could cut through urban clutter, unify diverse food vendors, and drive foot traffic.
By merging one of the city’s most iconic historical landmarks with a modern culinary symbol, the resulting identity transformed a local weekend event into a landmark visual experience.
My Role
Lead Brand & Visual Designer: Concept development, identity design, typography, color strategy, and physical/digital collateral.
Deconstructing the city’s architectural DNA to find a shared structural language with street food. This schematic phase was crucial in ensuring the final logo remained a recognizable symbol of Skopje while maintaining the ‘appetite appeal’ of a festival brand.
